So, tomorrow I'm going over to my friend's house for the premier of the new Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), Camp Rock, starring the Jonas Brothers (Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas) and Demi Lovato and a few other obscure Disney Channel stars. Disney is making a huge deal out of it, like it's the next High School Musical. 

Disney already has junior novels, clothing, accessories etc. out on the market (Wal-Mart, Limited Too and Claires) and the movie hasn't even come on yet. I have a feeling that Disney is going to milk the hell out this just like they're doing the High School Musical, Hannah Montana and Cheetah Girls franchise. It's just their nature. 

Demi Lovato is certain to be the next Disney Princess and is going to knock Miley Cyrus out of the spotlight for a while. 

I only like 2 songs so far and that's "This Is Me" sung by Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas and "We Rock" sung by the Camp Rock cast. That's kind of bad in my book. When I heard the HSM 2 soundtrack a few weeks before it came on I loved just about every track. Maybe it's because I don't like the Jonas Brothers so much. 


Well, we'll see how this goes. It'll most likely be popular as hell. Next for this made-for-tv-not-so-much-a-musical-movie: 30 city concert, 100 city Ice-Tour, a not needed sequel and a Broadway production. lol!
